True diversity UHF wireless microphone system with 1, 2, or 4 individually programmable channels that sync to each transmitter to set the carrier frequency, EQ settings, transmission power, and even the display backlight colour for identification. Transmitters are available as either rugged handheld microphones with a high-quality dynamic capsule in a full metal housing or as a compact bodypack with a choice of neckband or lavalier microphones, all with fully balanced signal connection. Twin BNC antennas can be connected at the rear of the receiver or to the front panel when 19" rack-mounted using the supplied BNC extension cables. Each channel is tuneable within the license-free UHF and regulated duplex gap bands, arranged in 8 groups of 8-16 carrier frequencies. Both receiver and transmitter settings are programmed via a front panel full colour TFT display with a rotary encoder for parameter adjustments. Each channel has a further backlit display that corresponds to the display on each transmitter and sync's wirelessly via an IR connection, avoiding the complication of multiple controls on each transmitter. For uncompromising wireless performance, the TU-series has been designed to provide a reliable and adaptable system for stage performances, conferences, theatrical productions and other vocal duties.
